Keeping the J-body clean, so when you leave the competition in the dust, you still look good doing it.

Here are some tips to keep it lookin good.

1) Soak it down real good with water, and spray off the stuck on dirt and dust(less dust and dirt on your paint, the less chance of scratches), spray in and around the wheels an wheel wells.

2) Use a clean wash mitt and a mild car wash soap(not dish soap)soak the mitt in water and add soap to the mitt(don't use a bucket, because the dirt sits in the bottom and when you put your mitt in it falls to the bottom and collects the dirt), If the car is really dirty than just spray out the mitt more often.

3) Start at the roof and work down to the hood and then do the trunk lid, then start from the back quarter panels and work forwards to the doors and front fenders, only do the top half of the cars sides(do the bottom after as that is the dirtiest).

4) Do the front of the car (headlights, bumper, front air damn and spoiler), then spray out the mitt so that there is no dirt in it, then clean the taillights, rear bumper, and exhaust tips.

5) Now you can clean the lower half of the car including the door jams, and sill. After cleaning the door jam start cleaning the wheels(I take my wheels off, about every 6mths and clean the insides out)and tires, then the wheel wells.

6) Use a leaf blower to blow off the excess water(works real good) or a soft towel or chamie will work just fine. If you are going to wax it follow step 7, if you aren't going to wax then you can add some tire shine(only us silicone tire shine, the other stuff like armor all will turn your tires brown)Goodyear tire shine works good.

7)  Use a good wax like mothers or zymol, or my favorite "Auto Glym" apply a small amount of wax to a clean wax applicator, and apply it to the paint in a circular motion. Start with the hood and work in into the paint as the applicator becomes soiled with oxidation, flip the applicator to a clean spot. After you have done the hood do the roof, and then the trunk lid. After you do all of the top of the car, do the sides and then the molding last.

8) After she's all shined up take her to a show and shine !!!!!!!!!!
